Poland came into this World Cup qualification campaign as heavy favourites to top their group and make it to Russia next summer, and they’re making major steps towards it.
At the halfway point they sit top of their group with a comfortable six point cushion on 2nd placed Montenegro, so a couple more wins would all but guarantee their inclusion in the World Cup.
Since they were knocked out of Euro 2016 by Portugal, they have won four and drawn two of their six matches. In normal time Poland are now undefeated in 12 games.
On home soil it’s more of the same, where they have won eight, drawn two, and lost just one of their last 11 games. This includes wins over Republic of Ireland, Czech Republic, Serbia, and Denmark.
