Panama visits to Costa Rica in Friday’s World Cup qualification action with Both sides currently vying direct qualification spot for next year’s competition in Russia.
For Costa Rica this round of fixtures against Panama and Trinidad and Tobago are imperative. Costa Rica has made the last three of the last four World Cups,. An exact fixture between these two sides occurred last year, and they were defeated 3-1. They’ll need to boost their confidence beyond the roofs, as they really do struggle on road.
It’s a very strong home nation going up against weak travellers. As such we expect another routine home win.
PREDICTION - Backing the hosts on the -1.0 Asian Handicap looks a good shout. That means we need Costa Rica to win by more than a single goal to make money.
